Balewadi :
Due to land acquisition and funding issues,the long awaited Mamta Chowk, Balewadi to Wakad Bridge approach road work has began now.
For road work leading from Mamata Chowk, Balewadi to Wakad Bridge, continuous follow up through Guardian Minister, Chandrakant Patil, State Government, on 8th May ’23 sanctioned Rs.144 Crore for all the incomplete roads works of Baner-Balewadi Smart City.
The work of the said road has already started two days ago
At this time the site was inspected by Amol Balwadkar along with the concerned contractor and officials. The process of transplanting the trees coming in the said road has also been completed.
This road work will be completed very soon
Since last many years, Balwadkar have been continuously following up with the state government through the Pune Municipal Commissioner, Smart City D.C.A Officer Chandra Kant Dada Patil to build this road as soon as possible and to remove the problem of traffic congestion in Baner-Balewadi area forever through this road.
The biggest hurdle to complete this road was land acquisition
For this land acquisition, Mr. Kishore Pate on behalf of the said S. No. 2/7/1 Amit Builders along with his son Mr. Rohan Pate and Pune Municipal Commissioner Mr. Vikram Kumar resolved the issue on 27/01/2022 and On 09/06/2023, the land acquisition deed of the site was submitted by the concerned developer to the Pune Municipal Corporation.
*Thereafter, the pending land acquisition problem was resolved*
At the beginning of the month of January, Balwadkar met Pune Guardian Minister Hon. Chandrakantada Patil in person and requested through a written letter to sanction funds for this road. Also on 17th May 2023 along with Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil, we made an on-site inspection to start this road work immediately.
AmOl balwadkar said : With the completion of this road, Baner-Balewadi residents will definitely be relieved from the traffic problem and Hinjewadi I.T. Park employees, students, business people related to the city of Pimpri Chinchwad will also benefit greatly from this road.
